About Me

Hey there! My name is Elaine and I'm a part-time barista on a quest to become a full-time artist.I've worn many different hospitality-related hats over the years, but throughout it all, making art full-time has always been my goal. With a background in animation, I strive to create expressive, character-driven work with a focus on emotion and storytelling. Whether they come from the pages of a book, a tabletop game, or anywhere in between, my goal is to breathe life into your characters and help tell their story!In addition to making many, many cappuccinos, I'm thrilled to be able to create custom character art, book cover illustrations, and more. Thank you so much for your interest in commissioning me! I can't wait to hear about your project and your characters!Below you'll find a basic outline of my pricing, terms, and process. If your project falls outside of the scope of what's listed below, or if you simply have questions for me, please feel free to send me an email at [email protected] and I'll get back to you as soon as possible.

"Screencap" Art	$300 per "shot"	additional fees for complexity, extra characters, etc.	Promotional use included*
Book Covers	$600 front cover, $1000 for full wrap	additional fees may apply for complex designs	Commercial usage included

*A commercial license fee of +40% can be added on at any time if you wish to sell prints or other products featuring the artwork -- just let me know in your email if this is something you're interested in, and I'll be happy to discuss all the details with you!

All payments are invoiced through PayPal and prices are listed in USD.
Payment is split 50/50 - 50% up front as a deposit, and 50% upon delivery of the final artwork. If you would like to discuss an alternate payment plan, please let me know! I am more than willing to discuss alternatives that may work for you and your budget.
I have a strict no AI policy. No exceptions!
Turnaround time is usually 1-2 months depending on the complexity of the project. If you have a deadline in mind for your project, please let me know ASAP so I can check my schedule and make sure I can meet it.
Major revisions may incur additional fees. I will make sure to communicate with you throughout the entire process and let you know if a particular revision will require additional payment.
*Promotional use is included in base pricing for all commissions (i.e. posting on social media, displaying at cons, freebies & giveaways). If you are planning on using the artwork in please let me know, as commercial fees may apply.
To book a commission - Please email [email protected] with a brief description of your project (or use the form at the bottom of this page). Tell me a little about your characters, your story, and what parts of it you hope this artwork will capture. If you have a deadline, please include that as well! This will help me determine if I am able to take on your project at this time.
After we've discussed all the details and agreed on an price, a detailed copy of my terms will be emailed to you outlining usage, cancellation policies, revisions, etc. in addition to the information listed above. Once I've received the initial deposit, I'll begin working on your commission!
